Impart links Maintain was formed in late 2015 to start a particular 3 month requirement for an existing client in January 2016 completing a range of intervention repairs and maintenance works to bring components in line with expected life spans.
Following the initial 3 months works we were contracted from April 2016 to complete all response repairs, voids and the majority of planned works at a large retirement village in Northampton. This allowed us a backdrop in which to grow our team and win other contracts. It also meant that our team was subject to a whole host of repairs and maintenance requirements that we are now able to offer as our core services.
What started in 2016 as 2 men in a van, and a surveyor/ manager, quickly became a team of multi-trade operatives, a ground works team, administration function, surveyors, a site foreman and a dedicated ILM manager.
Using our direct operatives and a managed, proven sub-contractor supply chain ILM now supply works to a number of Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and private home owners.
We believe that the as a small maintenance business ILM is unique in that it is backed by a team of experienced housing consultants who understand the rigours of proper project management, communication with clients, Health and Safety (including being principle contractor), and all back office aspects which assist our clients before during and after any project.
